Two-thirds of our planet is covered by ocean. It is what makes us who we are and what gives us so much joy. We aim to address like-minded people, who are awake and aware of the inmense value of our oceans and are deeply connected to surfing but also have a thirst for style and substance. More than just another green label we like to think of TWOTHIRDS as the blue company.
Our leitmotif: PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE.

Out of the Blue: “Dark Side of the Lens” by Mickey Smith

Now that the Bread & Butter Berlin is over we can only but thank everyone. We couldn’t ask for a better reception! The Plastic Wave made out of 500 Pet bottles was the eye-catcher at the Sport & Street area. People were outrageously interested in our brand and reactions to the collection were extremely good.
The Plastic Wave, which was done in a cooperation with artist Kathleen Egan and our talented friends at Materialschlachten, did not only attract people into our booth but it was a creative way of telling our story and making people think a little beyond fashion. It helped us create awareness on the fact that our ocean is becoming a giant landfill full of plastic but that we have the power to stop this.
Hundreds of visitors got inside the wave, had a blast (you don’t get to surf too often in Berlin) and did something good by signing a petition for an ocean free of plastic.
Here are some impressions and thanks to all who visited us!

Our designer went to oversee the production of the TWOTHIRDS Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook and took some pictures of our baby. Everything is fine so we are set for the official presentation at the Bread&Butter 2010 in Berlin. Yeah!

Federico is our first attempt to find a TWOTHIRDS low emissions company car. We would love to keep him but we still have to work on his methane footprint…
