Two-thirds of our planet is covered by ocean. It is what makes us who we are and what gives us so much joy. We aim to address like-minded people, who are awake and aware of the inmense value of our oceans and are deeply connected to surfing but also have a thirst for style and substance. More than just another green label we like to think of TWOTHIRDS as the blue company. Our leitmotif: PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE.

Zinematic Surfing 10, Films & Music under the stars.

Zinematik Surfing is a get together around surfing films on the boardwalk in Zarautz.

The Idea of this Little festival stems from the desire to want to promote this activity within the surfing framework of Zarautz, in an easy going and casual setting such as the very beach of Zarautz, stage linked the surf for decades of primarily cool and coexistence among everybody coming to share our waves. This is part of the differential character of our beach environment, and certainly gathering friends around a movie screen at sunset, sharing a few beers encourages this good vibe.

This get together consists of three sunsets of late August and mid September, during which a variety of local and international productions will be screened, under the stars, with no other scenario than the very boardwalk of the beach of Zarautz and wrapped around music and sessions.

TWOTHIRDS at Bread & Butter.

Now that the Bread & Butter Berlin is over we can only but thank everyone. We couldn’t ask for a better reception! The Plastic Wave made out of 500 Pet bottles was the eye-catcher at the Sport & Street area. People were outrageously interested in our brand and reactions to the collection were extremely good.

The Plastic Wave, which was done in a cooperation with artist Kathleen Egan, did not only attract people into our booth but it was a creative way of telling our story and making people think a little beyond fashion. It helped us create awareness on the fact that our ocean is becoming a giant landfill full of plastic but that we have the power to stop this.

Hundreds of visitors got inside the wave, had a blast (you don’t get to surf too often in Berlin) and did something good by signing a petition for an ocean free of plastic.

Here are some impressions and thanks to all who visited us!

Lookbook in the oven

Our designer went to oversee the production of the TWOTHIRDS Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook and took some pictures of our baby. Everything is fine so we are set for the official presentation at the Bread&Butter 2010 in Berlin. Yeah!

Say hi to Federico

Federico is our first attempt to find a TWOTHIRDS low emissions company car. We would love to keep him but we still have to work on his methane footprint…
